Drac Base – Champsaur / Valgaudemar Discover our base in the wild valley of Champsaur / Valgaudemar, a breath of fresh air just 2h30 from Marseille and 2h from Aix-en-Provence in the Southern Alps. Rafting allows beginners as well as experienced paddlers to enjoy whitewater from the very first strokes. A free-flowing ride, a supervised adventure to explore the world of rivers safely.
Find us in an idyllic setting between mountains and river.
In spring, we navigate the Drac river, a wild and powerful torrent mainly fed by snowmelt and dominated by the Pic du Vieux Chaillol.
We go down the river in 6/7-seater rafts on the La Fare / La Guinguette section in a magnificent environment. Rapids and laughter guaranteed! But be careful: in April/May the route can be quite sporty.
We welcome you from April until late June or early July depending on water levels for the Drac river, then in July and August on the Séveraisse.
All the services needed to enjoy a pleasant and friendly moment will be available.
